One day a dog stole a piece of meat from a mutton shop.

On his way to his place, he had to cross a bridge under which water was flowing in full stream.

When he was crossing the bridge, he saw his own image in the water.

He mistook it for another dog looking at it.

He thought that the image dog wanted the piece of meat too.

So, he started to bark at the image-dog.

The moment the dog opened his mouth to bark, the piece of meat fell into the water.

The moment the piece of meat fell into the water, the image disappeared.

The dog realized his mistake and became sad for his foolishness.

MORAL: Do not be greedy.
